About us

International Heavy Haulage B.V. (I.H.H.) has been arranging the transportation of exceptional and heavy loads within Europe since 2004. The added support of the company GCS Johnson Ltd., in (northern) England means that I.H.H. is able to offer an appropriate solution for each exceptional load. I.H.H. started operating in the Netherlands in 2004 and another branch opened in (central) England in 2006.

Our wealth of know how as regards exceptional transport and the excellent services we offer our customers has resulted in a considerable increase in the amount of work. As a result of this growth, International Heavy Haulage decided, in 2006, to start purchasing Dutch drawn vehicles.

I.H.H. took receipt of its first drawn vehicles in January 2007. Due to the increased demand from customers for I.H.H. material, it was decided to include these drawn vehicles in the company. At the moment, I.H.H. has over 15 tractive units and 9 drawn vehicles.

I.H.H. also has extra heavy material such as module trailers, heavy deep loaders with up to 100 tons loading capacity, vessel beds whose width can be extended and beam trailers from the company GCS Johnson Ltd. Since International Heavy Haulage was established, its other drawn vehicles have been used on routes throughout Europe by I.H.H.'s regular hauliers. In addition to the company's own material and its regular hauliers, the company also enlists the specialist know-how, expertise and reliability of its other haulier contacts which operate in the heavy and exceptional transport segment. The loads are therefore always transported with the utmost care, and this is one of the trademarks of I.H.H.

Put briefly, one can rightly say that International Heavy Haulage has developed over the course of the years into a dependable logistical partner for companies that need to transport exceptional loads. As far as International Heavy Haulage is concerned, there are no limits to the loads it can transport from A to B, based on sound arrangements as regards all the necessary permits, transhipment and transfers.
